Calculating machine Burkhardt-Arithmometer (staggered roll). The machine with inventory number 511 and production number 8104 was produced around 1900 by the company of Arthur Burkhardt in Glashütte in Sachsen. This was the first company for calculating machines in Germany. The Burkhardt Arithmometer still has strong similarities to the earlier Thomas-de-Colmar calculating machine.
