This model was built by the British instrument maker George Adams, who lived from 1750 to 1795. Accordingly, this model is from this time as well, as he marked it with his initials "G A".
The model consists of a ruler, upon which a semicircle was put (both without a scale). In the semicircle located directly above the ruler is a drawgap, which stretches to the middle of the semicircle. The mathematical options are rather restricted, through rotation it is possible to divide an angle, but not in a certain degree value.
